*OPENING SPRING 2025*

Wrens Nest Klamath

Campground & Art Park

Bonanza, OR

What's the
Big Idea?

Wrens Nest LOGO.png

Creating intentional communities through artistry and
food sovereignty.

In 2021, Chanse and her partners purchased raw, undeveloped land in Bonanza, OR -- about 40-minutes outside of Klamath Falls with the goal to turn it into a self-sufficient off-grid campground for those seeking an intentional community.

After spending the last year on and off of the land and in the neighboring town, Klamath Falls, it became evident that the county could use not only some color on their walls, but better, more affordable, food options.

So now this mission has developed into three parts:

  1. A communal living environment focused on providing everyone with their basic needs.

  2. An initiative to connect Oregon artists, with businesses and community centers, to color the town (and get paid for it).

  3. An initiative to bring mobile food options to the plethora of empty parking lots and connect with the existing food establishments and farms to reduce food waste and make sure the community at large is always fed.

How do we plan to get there?

  • Hosting satellite events within Oregon until we can host events on the property.

  • Volunteering at community events to gain community input, as well as providing online surveys to be distributed through social media.

  • Participating in farmers' markets and maker fairs.

  • Offering space on the property for those looking to garden who may not have the space to do so in their place of residence.

  • Running social media campaigns once we're ready to take donations.

How we could use your support along the way!

  • Your input and ideas!

  • Your professional opinions and guidance.

  • Joining in on an event!

  • Suggesting an event.

  • Selling your art or handmade products alongside us at famers' markets and maker fairs.

Join us in doing something different.

Meet Your Host

Doing the Most

I'm just Chanse (the one not looking at the camera) with a stubborn mission to teach starving artists how to feed themselves and their community. Producing art in its many forms can be a very lonely, isolating, anxiety ridden process. I am no stranger to this and if you've happened upon me, you're likely no stranger to it either. I, too, want to be heard; I, too, want to inspire. And it doesn't have to wait until our pièce de résistance is ready to be served.

Chanse is a California native with community in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and now small town Klamath Falls, OR, USA. She's had her fair share of inspiration and culture shock from travel within and outside of the US and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.

She received her certificate in Wedding & Event Planning while pursuing an associates in film and is two years post grad, having received her Master's of Fine Arts in Screenwriting at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Aside from finally launching Wrens Nest Klamath satellite events, Chanse is an educator both in the classroom and online, and is pursuing a certificate as a Para Educator at a local community college.

Oh, and she's a food fanatic!
